Startup Sphere Weekly #49
A Wix plugin selling for $370,000. Also, a platform for sharing files making $113,000/year.
Hey, it’s Vlad.
Welcome back to Startup Sphere - a weekly 5-minute digest about online businesses selling for life-changing amounts of money.
As a reminder, I am currently building VentureHub, a database of 50,000+ services scraped from Fiverr. This database is a goldmine for finding a business idea that is profitable and market-tested. If you’re looking to find a market-tested business or feature, check it out at https://getventurehub.com/.
Reply to this email with a business you’re working on and I’ll feature it in next week’s newsletter.
Alright let’s get into today’s businesses ⤵️
Weekly Rundown
Remote job board for healthcare workers
Asking Price: $78,000
TTM Revenue: $26,000
TTM Profit: $22,700
I pretty much never associated healthcare work with remote work, but this is a really cool business that proves otherwise.
The website is a job board for healthcare workers, specifically focusing on remote jobs like telehealth, remote nursing, medical coding, etc.
There are a couple of advantages to this business specifically. Firstly, the operation is mainly run by a VA, which gives a lot of the work hands-off to the new owner.
I also think the target audience is strong. Medical professionals often have money and therefore are willing to spend it on career-improving opportunities (like this job board).
The company makes $26,000 in ARR, which isn’t massive but it proves that there is some addressable market for this niche.

Before and after Wix plugin
Asking Price: $370,000
TTM Revenue: $97,000
TTM Profit: $94,000
Here’s another niche listing that caught my eye just because I didn’t even think of it as a business until now.
The company for sale is a Wix plugin that allows website owners to showcase before and after images. I assume it is one of those “slider“ interactives that lets users see the improvements provided by a website/company.
To me, this is a really interesting solution that shows that there is an audience for everything. This plugin is installed on 50,000 websites, with 7,000+ paying customers. It seems like the main audience is visual artists, architects, beauty salons, etc.
What I find cool about these types of tools is that even if a customer doesn’t pay, their website acts as a backlink, driving more traffic toward the plugin.

Platform for sharing passwords and files
Asking Price: $752,000
TTM Revenue: $113,000
TTM Profit: $108,000
The business for sale is password.link, a secure platform for sharing sensitive information like passwords and files. This seems like such a simple, but straightforward concept. You write a secret, get a unique link for that secret, and send it to someone. Once that link is opened, the secret cannot be accessed again.
I am probably not the target audience for this, since I’ve never even thought about using something like this. But I can definitely see some use cases.
Because the tech is so simple (at least it seems like it) the business has an impressive 95% profit margin.
They also have some large customers like Monday.com.
I think the price for this business is a bit high, but it seems like a great buy at a lower multiple.
