Startup Sphere Weekly #50
A dating automation extension selling for $210,000. Also, a 3D modeling tool selling for $275,000.
Hey, it’s Vlad. Welcome back to Startup Sphere.
It’s been almost a year since I started this newsletter to share my interest in business and tech with others, so I appreciate you joining me along on that journey.
Without any further ado, let’s get into this week’s features businesses ⤵️
Weekly Rundown
A platform for selling info products
Asking Price: $90,000
TTM Revenue: $23,000
TTM Profit: $16,000
This is a niche I’ve seen grow in recent years. Multiple platforms are popping up that help entrepreneurs sell info and digital products. Whop is an example of a large player in the industry. Gumroad is another example of a competitor.
The business for sale is at a much smaller scale, but showing some promise. The company has over 12,000 customers, each with an associated email address. They also reached 145,000 organic platform visits in the last 6 months.
The business also looks healthy, with strong profit margins and decent growth. This is definitely a good buy. However, keep in mind that this is effectively a marketplace, so it comes with some of the challenges of building one.

Dating automation extension
Asking Price: $210,000
TTM Revenue: $64,000
TTM Profit: $63,000
I’ve featured a couple of businesses similar to this, so you can say I am a fan of the niche.
The company for sale is a Chrome extension that helps automate dating sites (Tinder, Bumble, etc). From my understanding, the main functionality comes from automating the act of swiping on these websites.
The business looks strong, with 98% profit margins and increasing organic traffic. I also think this niche is great to build a business in because it follows Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

Tool to generate 3D kitchen models
Asking Price: $275,000
TTM Revenue: $59,000
TTM Profit: $58,000
There have been multiple times when I wished I had a reliable way to help me design/redesign a room in my apartment, so this business definitely caught my eye.
The company is an integration built on top of an existing platform, SketchUp. It helps users generate 3D models of kitchens and other rooms quickly.
In my opinion, this is a strong buy, mostly because it is built on top of an existing platform that has 30,000,000 active users. This gives you an opportunity to market to said users and pitch them on how you can improve their experience on a platform that they already use.
I also like how profitable this business is, with 98% profit margins. The listing also mentions that operating costs take up less than 2%.
